ATTR 521 Clinical Education I

Students will learn the importance of evidence-based practice by utilizing careful examination of current literature and guest speakers covering current issues in athletic training practice. They will be socialized into the profession of athletic training and develop a sense of collegiality through discussions with classmates and their assigned clinical rotations. They will also apply knowledge and skills learned in their athletic training courses to the clinical setting through their assigned clinical rotation under the direct supervision of a preceptor. Students must complete a minimum of 160 clinical education hours.




Admission into the Master of Athletic Training program or permission of the program director
