ATTR 528 Therapeutic Interventions II

The purpose of this course is to provide students with the knowledge in the application of therapeutic intervention principles and techniques to upper extremity and cervical spine injuries and pathologies. It includes treatment determinations and rationale for use, effects, indications and contraindications for relevant interventions of the upper extremity. Clinical decision making to design, implement and assess a comprehensive goal-based treatment plan will be emphasized. Students will integrate contemporary and traditional approaches of physical agents, electrotherapeutic, manual and mechanical modalities.
