OCTH 502 Analysis of Everyday Occupations

The detailed performance skills of everyday human occupations are examined and used in practical application through the use of activity analysis. Students gain foundational knowledge of professional language and the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework while developing skills to identify and utilize meaningful occupation as treatment media. Lab experience includes activity analysis, completion of selected craft activities and areas of early occupation. Documentation principles and application will also be explored in detail as it applies to various settings in OT practice.
