*The language requirement of six to 18 hours may include prerequisite courses depending upon the student’s language placement. Student must complete at least six semester hours of 300-level or higher courses of a European language (e.g.,
SPAN 310,
SPAN 320, SPAN 323, or
SPAN 360) or at least six semester hours of 200-level or higher courses of a non-European language (e.g.,
JAPN 220 and
JAPN 221). The chosen language must match the regional focus.
Student must complete at least six semester hours in an international academic experience. The international academic experience may be taken through UF international study courses (e.g., BLMC 330) or through an affiliated study abroad program chosen in consultation with the academic advisor.
